Saying Goodbye To An Angel

How do I write this?  This morning Spencer awakended and went to Sage's crib as he does every morning to bring him to Crystal so she can nurse him.  It's their special time together every morning.  Laying in bed and nursing her baby.

This morning Spencer went to get Sage and found him not breathing.  He carried him to their bedroom and started CPR.  He performed CPR for about 20 minutes until the Paramedics arrived.  They took over from there. 

The sweetest thing was to see Spencer performing CPR and my husband laying beside the baby placing his hands on his head and giving him a Blessing.  Something that will be in my mind and heart forever.  Oh what a sweet thing the Priesthood is.  How thankful I am for the Gospel what a sweet feeling of peace and comfort it is.

Baby Sage passed from this life today and on into the loving arms of our Heavenlty Father.  Please keep Crystal and Spencer and their children in your prayers.

Tombstone Rose Bush

If you live in the valley and want to plant a climber this is the one! It's so drought resistant and low maintenance. It really does not require that much water once it's established even in the hot summer months. Another bonus is it's always green. It grows super fast and it just gets bigger every spring. I've decided I want to plant more of these.

Of course RaLee and her good friend Bailey needed a photo! When these girls dress the same and fix their hair the same they seriously pass as sisters if not twins. It's kind of creepy to me. They have fun with this not to mention their names rhyme!

Notice the cell phone in her hand...it never leaves her side! At 1,000 text message's a day when she's not in school and 600 a day when school is in session. She just got unlimited texting so I'm curious to see the first statement and just really how many she sends and receives a day! Geez how did we survive back in the "Olden Days".

Spring Time

Spring time for me means the end of good weather and reminds me that the summer heat and huge electricity bills are on their way.  But this Spring my Pink Jasmine bush has reminded me what spring is all about...

Just budding...I have to admit this phase gets my allergies going!

I can't describe how wonderful this bush smells!  I've kept my windows open and have enjoyed every breeze that passes by.  So for a little while I'm just enjoying Spring and this Summer when I'm frying I can look back at my pictures and "remember".

Amanda's Latest Prego Photo

Everytime I see Amanda she is bigger! I think she is an adorable pregnant lady! She reminds me of my mom when she was pregnant even though I only have one picture of my mother when she was pregnant. Amanda always reminds me of mom anyway with her skin color and long blond hair. Isn't she adorable pregnant! This is how she thinks she looks...

Her ankles are swollen ... And she waddles when she walks (so cute!).

Her husband affectionately calls her "The Mother Ship", which cracks me up. Amanda has expressed some concern about, "Just how big am I going to get! I have 5 weeks to go!" She has also said she has LOVED being pregnant and is sad to see this time pass. One things for sure we are all VERY excited to meet Little Isabelle!

Congratulations RaLee!

RaLee endured some really grueling cheerleading tryouts this week both physically and mentally. They didn't get home until 6:30-7:00pm every night. The school brought in the championship cheerleaders from Queen Creek High School to teach them a dance and a couple of cheers. RaLee brought home girls Wednesday and Thursday to help them with the dance portion. For some reason dancing comes natural to RaLee and she was able to learn it quickly and help the other girls. Thursday they practiced until 1 in the morning! The instructors from Dance Matrix studios judged the girls on Friday. After the judges had made their decision they called all the girls into the gym and proceeded to read the names of the girls that were on the Freshman squad. Her name was not called and at that point she said she got really nervous. They finally called her name for the JV squad along with her good friend Emily! She said they couldn't celebrate because only THREE of the 12 girls from last years Freshman squad made it this year. Those three were Emily, Martika and RaLee. She said it was sad to see most of last years squad in tears knowing they wouldn't be cheering together next year. It wasn't until Emily and RaLee were alone in the gym that they allowed themselves to celebrate. She said, "Mom we just stood there and looked at each other, wiped our tears and started jumping for joy and then we did a taquito roll across the gym floor." A"taquito roll" (I learned) is when they lay down with arms stiff at their sides and roll all over the place. "I'm like seriously RaLee?" Yep mom it's our thing, don't worry no one saw us! What a nut.

She is excited because they will get to order new uniforms after Spring Break. Combs High School was new this year and they only had Freshmen students. They will move into their brand new High School this fall and will actually be able to cheer on their very own football field! This coming fall the school will be home to Freshmen and Sophomores only. Adding a new class each fall until they have freshman, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors in the 2011-2012 school year. The fun thing for RaLee is she will be "the" upperclassman through out her high school years. I have posted some pictures of the new school below for those that haven't seen it.

We are proud of RaLee and all of her hard work and wish her and the new squads the best of luck and lots of fun times for the year ahead. I guess this is bad news for my fellow bloggers because it means one more year of enduring "RaLee Cheer Photos"...sorry it's a mom thing :)
