It's A Double Dunk!

Kaitlen Elizabeth and Royal Wayne were Baptized on Saturday, March 5th.  It was such a special day and they were SO very excited.

They dressed up in their special Baptism outfits and we took them to the Temple to take their pictures for their invitations. Kaitlen had so much fun at the Temple and said, "It was the best day ever!".
If you get a chance go to the Visitors Center and view this exhibit.  It is beautifully done!

Kaitlen's baptism was considered a "convert" baptism because she was 9 years old.  When Kaitlen turned 8 we had Uncle Royals Wedding and her mommy was very pregnant.  They decided to baptise her in the summer after Haven arrived from Montana.  Then she broke her leg and the Dr.s wouldn't let her get her hip cast wet.  Then she had to learn how to walk again and by that time Wayne had turned 8 so we decided to baptise them together.  Because she was a convert Baptism she had the missionary discussions which really made it extra special.

Spencer baptized them because guess what?  Kaitlen's dad, John, was in a cast! John did get the honor of Confirming her and he did a fantastic job.
Payten all pretty in yellow
Jayden all pretty in yellow too!
Izzy is cute as ever but she was just a little grumpy.
We later learned that she was coming down with the flu.
And sweet Ellie Mae!  She is pure Joy!
I was so proud of my grandchildren and the decision they made to be Baptized.  I was thankful to be there and witness their special day.  Life is good and full of blessings!
