Jayden's Surgery

So I'm sure you have all been sitting around on pins-n-needles waiting for Jayden's surgery post.  haha Well here it is...
Pre-op toy room.
Look Grandma I'm this many!
Her reflection in this cool bubble mirror

Bear in his chair
A humming bird mural...a little message from Sage.
Bear gets his own ID bracelet and gets to go into surgery with her.
Mom who started having contractions that morning
Getting her heart and lungs checked out
Jade and Old Bear go for a ride
Then Old Bear gets his own car
Spencer declared this the coolest magnetic toy ever and suggested they get rid of the entire play room and just get one of these.
Time to go.  Saying good bye to mommy
and daddy
Wrapped in a warm blanket because the OR is going to be cold
She is off and we barely cried at all....you believe that right?
The surgery went well.  They found a baffle in her urethra (a very large piece of skin) that was blocking the urethra and affecting her urine flow.  They removed it and stitched it up.  Then cut the top and bottom of the urethra to widen it then sent her home on a catheter for at least a week.  She had a very hard time comming out of it with lots of screaming and thrashing.  Her heart rate got over 200 so they gave her two shots of demoral in her IV and that calmed her right down.  Then we loaded her up and took her home.
A few minutes later this is what I saw...so sweet.  Both of them sound asleep.
I am so amazed at what they can do now days on an out patient basis!  Thank you for all of your prayers they are so appreciated.  Jayden is doing well and very excited for "baby Elli" to come.  She suggests mom just have it already!  Trust me mom is still laboring and spent last night in the hospital.  She is progressing slowly and trying to stay positive.  Spencer is SO excited!
