Belated Birthday Wishes!

Okay December was so busy that I forgot to wish a special some one Happy Birthday! Who did I forget you ask? Well I'm only the worst Mother-In-Law ever because I forgot to wish John Happy Birthday on my blog. I'm a little late, well a lot late, so here goes...John blowing out 29 candles! He was born on December 21, 1979 just three days after Crystal was born. Now who new that just three days after my first baby was born some one in Utah would give birth to the future husband of my yet to be born third daughter. I know I think to deeply. John has tons of fun teasing Crystal about being Older...He loved his new beard and mustache trimmer... New ClothesMolly looking through the bags and paper but settled for that giant bone in the first photo. Don't you just love the hole in Royal's elbow? In his defense he had just put in a long day.

I love John very much. He works hard, supervises a crew, goes to school at DEVRY full time, maintains a high grade point average, and graduates with his Bachelors in October. He is going straight into the Master's program soon after graduation. John is a very knowledgable falconer and has trained Molly to do amazing things. She reacts to hand signals so when they are hunting with the Falcon he can give her silent commands that won't scare off animals. He is always willing to work on my computer or RaLee's iPod and itouch. He even made some cheer music mixes for her Cheer squad. These are just a few of his many qualities not to mention he is a super husband who loves my daughter very much.

What's That?

Okay so today I worked on taking down the rest of my Christmas decorations. Now in my younger day everything was down and stored by December 26th but that has changed in my old age. Not only am I lacking the energy I used to have but now I have about 20 or more totes full of Christmas decorations! I did refrain from putting up tree's number 3 and 4 this year and I'm so glad I did.
Anyway back to my story. I'm kicked back in the recliner this evening drinking a diet coke and I see the now empty tree move. What's that? Do I have mice? Rats? Yes the rats come if the field across the street from us gets plowed! But never in the house just the porch, barn, play house and shed. But I'm thinking did they plow? Did the rats get in the house? Then I realize what's in the tree...
Darcy, DJ's girlfriend, starts laughing then runs for my camera. Mind you I didn't even have to ask her. She's starting to know me well. Any way I thought the kitten was cute but should I be worried about next Christmas? Maybe by next Christmas the cat will have a name! Now is it just me or is this cat cross eyed? Oh any suggestions on a name?
