I can't believe Teele turned 49! I always tease him about being my "Old Man" because for 9 short months he is older than me. I was surprised when I had to buy three packages of candles for his cake. I don't know why but I count how old we are by how many packs of candles we need. Three of my kids require two packages! Now that makes me feel old.
We had a nice dinner party for Teele. All of his kids and grandchildren came to wish him a Happy Birthday. We love you Teele!

Hey Teele, I have a cane Jon gave up on last week ... he's going to a wheelchair tomorrow ... don't tell him I said that! Make this a good year, the big 50 is going to the best time of your life ... and we should know! (Jon is 60)
Happy Birthday Dad! I remember when you turned 40, I told you that you were shrinking. Do you remember I tucked your pant legs in and you walked out of your bed room you really thought that you were!
