Crystal's specialist got her right in and compared her X-ray's from some taken three years ago. She has had a ganglion cyst removed/excised from that foot 4 times now. There wasn't much if any growth from 3 years ago so that was a good sign. What upset us was her "Specialist" didn't notice the abnormality back then! But we are thankful he had an X-ray to compare with. He thinks it's either a cyst in the bone or very dense bone that will leave her vulnerable to brakes. He assured us it wasn't a malignant tumor but rather a benign cyst. He scheduled her for 2 MRI's. One to check the bone and the other to trace the route of the ganglion cyst for future surgery (after she finishes nursing Sage). Crystal and I went to the MRI last night and 2 1/2 hours later the radiologist stongly urged her to go back to her DR. with the results ASAP. She insists Crystal has a tumor and not a cyst in the bone. So we are remaining optimistic and want to believe the Dr. over the radiologist and we may even seek a second opinion. But so far it's good news. If the bone has a density problem they said they might consider removing that part of the bone and replacing it with healthy bone chips so she can grow new bone. In the mean time thanks for your thoughts, prayers and phone calls. Again we are optimistic that all is well. Thanks!

it sounds like good news. Hopefully the doctor is the one that is right and not the radiologist. Happy New year!
I am so glad to hear the goodnews ... but please do get a second opinion!!! Can't be too careful!
