Sweet 16

December 18, 1997 Grandma Francine playing Yahtzee and celebrating Crystal's 18th birthday. She would lose her battle with Leukemia the following day. This is a poem you wrote for Grandma.
Grandmother
It was dark with benches lined up in a row, at the front she lies in a casket of gold. Friends and family gathered around to wish her farewell for a life done well. Everyone new her for her kindness and giving. Her happy smile, youthful blue eyes and hair of gold. She was always a lady and I was her baby. I will remember you as a loving grandma, with life in your heart.

"...Courage is my shield in the battle of life a power that comes from within..."
