Kaitlen Elizabeth

I started doing my grandkids life in slide show format and then decided you couldn't really see the photos or even know anything about them so I decided to try this.  This is for Kaitlen my first grandaughter who was named after her Grandma!  Oh how I love this girl!  So this is long because I have way too many photos but I'm sure Kaitlen will enjoy it.
Remember Horse back rides with Aunt RaLee
Cheering for Uncle Royal
How messy you would get eating ice cream in your car seat
Getting Stuck in the tubes at McDonald's and Aunt Crystal had to climb in and rescue you
Bathing with William
Getting into mommy's make-up
Thinking you were so scary and giggling if grandma screamed
Going to the State Fair and staring at the stranger they sat next to you...Grandma laughed till she cried
Blending in at the Pumpkin Patch
How you always made sure your baby was fed
Getting into the make-up AGAIN
Coloring on the bathtub walls and bathing with T-Bone
Uncle DJ reading to you
Screaming when you got your ears pierced
And a sucker made it all better
Dancing with RaLee in the living room
Turning 2 and loving Dora
Only letting Grandma fix your hair...
Putting on Grandma's deodorant
Uncle Royal bench pressing you
Riding the Merry-Go-Round at the park
Swimming in Grandma's back yard
Stylin' in your Easter Glasses
Being scared of Santa Clause
Playing in the fountain at the zoo
The mess you always made on Grandma's table and floors
Sitting by the bubble machine and eating cotton candy at RaLee's B-Day party
The bright colored blankie you begged Grandma to crochet for you and how much you loved it!
Riding in the same ride the next year all smiles because cousin Will was with you
Learning to ride William's Trike
Playing Dress up and eating Reese's
When you were Tinkerbell for Halloween
You and William getting into the bag of cement mix minutes before his birthday party started!
It was all William's fault of course
Helping Grandma in the yard
How you loved Aunt RaLee's fuzzy hat!
Dressing up in the Cinderella dress you got for Christmas
Jumping on Grandma's furniture
How you always tore up the toilet paper
Turning 3 and making everyone wear a princess crown...
Even Grandpa!
Shot Day and you went first!
Then William
And how you comforted each other afterwards
then ran away when you realized it was Wayne's turn!
Dressing up as Snow White
Cutting your leg really deep and Grandma super glued it back together again
Riding the "bull" at the ward rodeo
Playing in the muddy rain water
Singing with Sunshine Generation...
...Then bursting into tears because you peed your pants.
Your first Big Girl ride at the State Fair
Chilling with Grandpa at the Fair
Wearing the Witch's costume Grandma sewed for you
Grandma following a trail of blood through the yard and then into the house...
That led straight to you and you wouldn't let us look at it!
How we left you alone with Grandpa-for the first time-so we could Christmas shop and he called us to say you had cut your hair!  We rushed home and when I asked you why you did it you said "Because I wanted to cut my hair like "Mulan"!
How hard you cried when Grandma had to cut it all off
But it turned out looking cute after all.
Turning 4 and getting your Bella Dancerella Set and a Ballerina costume!
You danced for hours and hours and had us call you Bella
Craft Day with Grandma
Helping Grandma in the yard
"Lady Bug Day"  When you each got a bag of Lady Bugs to put on Grandma's flowers to eat the bugs
Relaxing on the porch
Uncle Royal Teaching you to bowl
Being so happy to knock down the pins!
Playing in the sprinklers
How fun the Big slide was
Your Minnie Mouse Glasses
July 3rd the night Mommy and Daddy met for the first time after talking on the phone for two months
Pancake Breakfast at the church on July 4th the first time you met John he would propose to mommy that same day!
Smashing your toe!
Breaking your arm on your Bella Dancerella Bar!
Meeting your sister Haven for the first time!
The first day of Kindergarten and how you were so excited that you layed on the cement and rolled and rolled around and made this weird moaning sound when you did it?  Mommy and Grandma were so embarrassed because people thought you were mentaly challenged!
Your first time riding the school bus home and how Sukie would run to meet you
You and Haven were Flowers girls in Mommy and Daddy's wedding!
Becomming a Family
Holding your new baby sister Payten for the first time
Being Belle for Halloween
How all your hair grew back and all your friends at school call you Rapunzel!
Gradauting from Kindergarten
How the Doctors thought you had a tumor in your ear canal.  But they finally learned it was a popcorn kernel.  Then how they had to do surgery because it had SPROUTED into your ear canal so they had to cut it out!  We think a fellow kindergartner did it during the end of school year popcorn and movie day.
Then the same week you fell off your bunkbed in the middle of the night and broke your arm...
...and bruised your leg when you landed on your Dora The Explorer House
Then days after you broke your arm you were playing with daddy and bonked heads resulting in this huge black eye!
Then you said goodbye to Haven at the airport your summer was over
Then you were helping daddy feed for Grandpa and you got in the way of the pitchfork and...
You were stabbed in the foot.  Daddy felt so bad and it bled alot! And that was the end of your terrible summer!
Do you remember comming in Christmas day and asking everyone if we had seen your pink sweater and I said no but may I take your picture?  Then after I took this picture you looked down and realized your sweater was tied around your waist. Grandma laughed really hard that day.
How happy you were to turn 7 and get your MP3 player!  I love you Kaitlen!  You are sweet, kind and so very smart even your teachers want you to skip second grade.  You learned to ride a two wheel bike this winter and your always so sweet to your baby sister...you even share your new MP3 player with her.  She is so cute sitting there with you listening and singing to music.  Grandma and Grandpa sure do love you!

I LOVE this post, it's so much fun looking back at all of her pictures. She has grown up so much this past school year. I'm excited but sad too. She has been such an amazing little girl to raise. It is Kaitlen's choice to have hair to her butt she wants to look like princesses. Thanks Mom for her pictures she will loves this !!

I just come back and look at all of her many pictures. She has had some fun adventures in her short life. I love the cement mix and I laughed when the carny man put that other baby next to her she was not happy about that. She would always hide from us when she got hurt she was not happy when grandma found her hurt foot. I love that girl SO MUCH

Yea when she gets hurt she goes off to a corner. That's what dogs do they don't want to be bothered they'll lick their own wounds. She's so independant like that. The cement mix was funny but at the time Crystal stressed so much because the party was starting and William didn't have a change of clothes but it all worked out! Good times. Let me know what Kaitlen thinks...I loved the picture where she cried because she wet her pants. Too funny.

This was a great post! I like the commentary on all the pics. Some of the details I had forgotten, like her peeing her pants during her Sunshine Generation Show. Thanks mom!
