Summer Time

Just some, okay a lot, of pictures from our summer...so far.
This is Jeremy & Kat. Jeremy is Crystal and Spencer's neighbor that we have become good friends with. This is their engagement party. They will be married March 15 on Crystal and Spencer's wedding anniversary!

This is Buffy...Jeremy's awesome service dog.

My brother Mike's children came for a visit. They are from Micah, Washington right next to Spokane. I couldn't believe how much they had grown! Of course it had been 5-6 years since I saw them last.

This is my brother Mike and his wife KathyI borrowed the next 3 pictures from Kathy (thanks)

My Beautiful neice Randi (14)

My handsome nephew Pat (16)

We had a pool party for Pat and Randi at my brothers house...it was so much fun and the kids LOVED it!

My dad. I think he looks awesome for 70!

Royal and Grandpa Teele with Izzy

Spencer and Jayden

Kathy

Too cute!

Izzy was perfect ALL day long!

Kaitlen didn't get to swim all last summer because her arm was broken. Her Dr. said NO SWIMMING but we felt so bad for her...well grandma did...that I wrapped it in a garbage bag and duck tape. Yes it still got so wet we had to blow it dry but her cast is still good and she had a blast! Haven-we love it when she gets to come visit us.
Haven and Kaitlen rode home with Teele and I and they slept all the way home! I watched Crystal's children last week while they went to California. I met Jessica and John at the park in Queen Creek so the kids could play. It was such a nice cool beautiful day!

Trip to WalMart for a "Kiddy Pool" Crystal and I were determined the pool would fit. Notice Jayden asleep with her "Little Debbie" crushed in her hands...she wasn't about to let it go!
Today we went to the Barber School in Queen Creek and got the boys hair cut. Military cuts all the way around! They did ask where the baby boy was and they were very saddened to learn that Sage had passed away...they looked forward to cutting all four boys hair one day. It was sad but so nice that people remember our little man.

William ready to go!Okay these guys give the best $5 hair cuts around...and even offer some entertainment...I don't usually comment on peoples appearance but check out this guys outfit. One red cowboy boot one black! Lime green hat, Skinny jeans, some belt hanging down with lots of metal loops on it...very interesting. They guy gave one good hair cut though! Trey gets some of the most serious looks on his face when he gets his hair cut
Waynes turn
All done!
We do have some big news though as of today at about 3:14pm we are no longer living in Queen Creek. For 10 years we have actually lived in unincorporated Pinal County and we "borrowed" the city of Queen Creek's name for mailing purposes. This afternoon we, along with 80,000 other residents, became our own city! We are now living in San Tan Valley...I love our new name and it's nice to finally have one.

I love those summer haircuts. Perfect for a hot summer. The pool party looks like so much fun. Oh, and I like your new blog background!

The pool party does look like so much fun. Family times like that are so good. Something that we take for granted these days.

Have you ever noticed how much ?Wayne and Gabriel look alike in the eyes and nose area? Wayne is missing some of the uni-brow though! they both have eys that would melt an iceberg!

I love the hair cuts on the boys! They are all so handsome! The new name of the city is so nice. I was thinking thank goodness they didn't call it Sun Tan Valley! That would have been funny!

Love all the pictures! Isn't it great to be the grandma!! The boys' haircuts look very nice and I would have been skeptical about the guy cutting hair--but, like you said--he DOES give a good haircut. Now if someone could teach him how to dress! :-) Oh, and I love the new background!

Love the 4th of July theme! All of the furniture I painted black was painted with Rust-oleum American Accents smooth semi-gloss finish. I think it's around 8 bucks at Lowe's. It's a latex paint and dries very fast.. which I loved. It's also thick and coats nicely requiring less coats. In fact one 32 oz can painted 6 pieces that I had.. The 3 pieces in her room and 3 other pieces that I featured on my blog back in early May. Good Luck on your painting.. I hope you share your results.
Thanks for stopping by,
Hugs,
Debbie

I've been meaning to talk with you after sacrament and to give you a hug for that note on Father's Day...it was very emotional day and we spent the rest of the day at the cemetary and that was nice and overwhelming, Lani took a letter out that she wrote to her dad with just her frustrations of him gone and of her being the oldest with me expecting so much from her and how she wished to hear his voice again...we cried anda we laughed but I'm certainly glad that's over with....'til next year....THANK YOU for thinking of us and for your thoughts and prayers..we love your family!
