Random Silly-ness

We haven't been up to much lately other than staying out of the heat and in the air conditioning!  So this post is just random things that will update you on the Reidhead's.
  Teele belongs to the Arizona Cowpuncher's Association.   You have to be voted in to be a member and only working ranch Arizona Cowboy's qualify.  He has been a member since 1979 and makes the yearly trek to Williams for the Cowboy Reunion Rodeo.  This year Teele, RaLee and Royal attended from our family but most of the Reidheads were there too...it's a family reunion of sorts for them.  This is the grand entry.  You can see Teele (sunglasses plaid shirt) far right next to his nephew.  RaLee is far right just left of the pole.

This is Royal and Charlee Favro...They are dating pretty seriously.  I mention her because she is the first girl my boys have brought around that we absolutely love and trust me there have been countless girls.  I think they look great together.  Charlee's family goes to the reunion every year too so Royal has known her since she was a little girl.  Her dad has been a member as long as Teele so they have lots in common.

Teele didn't want to miss any work for the reunion so he worked all night and drove straight to Williams.    Williams is 4 hours one way.  So that's 8 hours round trip!  He arrived just in time to rope in a couple early morning events.  The minute he finished he drove straight back to work.  Worked all night long then drove home to pick up RaLee, shower and grab a change of clothes and drove back to Williams.  He slept in the pop up camper and didn't get much sleep because of the music from Royal's guitar around the camp fire all night.  He got up the next morning, Sunday, competed again.  All of his partners missed...he was sad but had a good time.  Then he and RaLee drove home.  He went four days with only 3 hours sleep.  Now I mention this because he came home, showered then fell asleep on the couch.  Then enter's RaLee....

Yep she painted his toe nails purple!  So he sat up and looked down and noticed them immediately.  He said, "Well Hell!  How long have those been painted?"  We all laugh until we cry.  Poor Teele goes to bed.  When I went into the room he asked me again how long they had been painted and I said, "Oh for a while."  The next day he asked me again how long because he was trying very hard to remember who might have seen his purple toe nails at the reunion that hung out by the camper.  I finally told the poor man that RaLee had just painted them.  Now we were all asking ourselves just how long was he going to Sport these purple toe nails?  I finally asked him yesterday if he was going to take his nail polish off and he said, (excuse the language) "I have scrubbed and scrubbed it with soap and water and that shit just won't come off!"  We all laughed and laughed and now we are wondering how long we should wait before we introduce him to nail polish remover!  Gosh the man had 4 daughters and a wife I thought he new about this stuff!  It's not often we pull one over on Teele so trust me we are taking our time with this one.

Then I have to confess I haven't been to church in three weeks!  The last time I went to sacrament was July 5 the day we blessed Isabelle.  So you wonder why I haven't been to church?  Well let me tell you why.  I brought my clothes with me to change into after the blessing.  We went to Amanda's house for dinner and I take off my panty hose and church shoes as fast as I can.  Panty hose in 115 degree heat is horrible!  So I brought my change of clothes in two WalMart sacks...yea I know Classy.  After I changed I placed my shoes and hair brush in one bag and my dress, hose, and slip in another.  I didn't want to forget them so I placed them by the front door.  We enjoyed dinner and the company of John's family from Logan, Utah.  We stayed long enough to tell John's family goodbye.  They had to drive home because John's father had a class to teach the next evening.  When I got ready to go home I couldn't find my bags.   I asked if anyone had seen them and they said no.  I searched the garbage thinking they had been thrown away.  But my worst fears were confirmed when the Griggs family stopped in Flagstaff for gas and looked in their trunk.  They called back and confirmed that yes my church clothes were on their way to Utah!  Well I own two dresses, one slip and one pair of shoes and one brush.  I have not received my clothes back yet so the first Sunday I stayed home...nothing to wear.  Then I bought me new hose, a slip and found an old pair of shoes so I was set to go to church then the old Dodge broke down.  So now I had clothes just no ride.  Then the next Sunday Teele took the truck to Williams and yet again I had no ride to church.  So HOPEFULLY the truck continues to run and I get to go to church this Sunday!  I wonder if Teele's toes will still be puprle?
