Update To The Last Post: My Girl!

Just an Update to the last post:  RaLee made it to Crystal's it was a rough ride for her.  She decided to take the short cut and ride her bike over the condemed bridge.  They put up a fence at both ends so she lifted her bike over the fence and dropped it to the other side then climbed over and repeated this process on the other side.  That's how she ripped her pants and cut her thumb.  Then as she approached the entrance to Crystal's housing development the chain fell off the old bike and she crashed it!  Then she pushed the bike until she found a place to hide the bike so she could run the rest of the way.  She hid it behind the entrance sign to Laredo Ranch.  When she went back later to retreive it someone had stollen it!  But she was there for Crystal and she never left her side.  She said Crystal talked in her sleep alot and even got up and was tossing her books(scriptures) on her night stand to the floor saying she needed to clean the house.  RaLee calmed her down, which Crystal later would say she doesn't even remember doing, and Crystal finally fell asleep...sleeping in (in her own house) for the first time since Sage died.  Thanks to RaLee.

I'm so glad she was able to be there for Crystal. Dad was alittle upset about his missing bike. The way RaLee told her story was so funny, she is such an amazing girl.

What amazing strength for someone so young. I'm so glad you guys live in the same area to offer support to each other as needed. I'm glad she was able to help Crystal get some sleep, and that RaLee was safe.

Liz, Thanks so much for your posts. You really are so blessed-all of your kids are so wonderful and this story is just one example. I know that they were brought up right by you and Teele!
I wish we were closer (in more ways than just distance) to Spencer and Crystal, but we will try harder to reach out. Sometimes we just don't know what the need is, so we wait until we are asked, when we should have made more of an effort to be there. But my heart continues to ache and I pray that the hurt will ease for all of us, especially Spencer and Crystal. I am looking forward to celebrating the life of Sage (because truly we have all been blessed by his life, however short) with you and everyone tomorrow. Thanks again for sharing.
