I have been missing the blogging world because I have not been able to upload photos! Who can blog without pictures? So I went back to the "Old Blogger" and am finally able to blog again. Trust me you didn't miss much because it's too HOT to do much of anything besides take shelter in doors.

When the thermometer gets past 110 we just stay in. We are looking forward to our trip to New Port, Washington this month and the cooler weather. We will be attending the Sage Memorial 5k run that is being held in my Grandson's honor and to raise money for SIDS research and families. We will be taking our "Sage" stone on the trip with us to remind us that he is always with us in spirit.

Caden has grown up so much this summer. He is holding his head up very well and gives out smiles quite frequently. He is such a beautiful little boy!

Caden's big sister, Payten, made her way to Aunt RaLee's room and found her favorite thing...Aunt Ray's Make-up!

She loves our dog Cheech and Otter Pops!

RaLee went to girls camp and LOVED being a YCL this year. Trust me when I tell you she is grumpy in the morning. I had to work really hard to get her to smile for me before she left.

If you think she was grumpy before she left it was worse when I picked her up. Apparently she was sweet and donated her one shower to a needy camper. She didn't want her picture taken. She was hungry, grumpy, tired and wanted a shower!
Don't you just love "Camp Hair"

I later learned that she LOVED camp!

Because of our upcoming trip to Washington we stayed close to home for the 4th of July. We decided to get together at Crystal's house and BBQ steaks on Saturday. We ended up playing Mexican Train until midnight. Then Sunday afternoon came and so did the text messages..."Should we have another BBQ?"...So all the kids came over to my house and we BBQ'd and played more Mexican Train. Then Monday came along and guess what? We did it again! The grand kids had a blast and so did the parents. I LOVE my family! I love that we all get along and enjoy each others company.
I hope all of you enjoyed your Holiday as well!

Sounds like lots of fun. We had such a quiet one! Monday was just work, work, work . . . just so that I could make messes of the rest of the week!
your family get togethers are always fun to read about...and you are so lucky to be escaping to cooler weather...have fun!!! though it will probably be an emotional day...
