Easter Sunday

Haven, Kaitlen and Payten spent the night with grandma and grandpa and the Easter bunny came.
Then the girls went outside and hunted eggs
The roses were in full bloom
The four baby birds I have been watching got brave and took their first flights.  It was so fun to watch.
Crystal and Spencer hadn't been to church since the services because of conference.  She was a little nervous about her first time back and how she would react since the last time she was there it was for Sage's services.  So we all decided to go to church with them and maybe help her through the first time back.
All ready for church.  Yes Kaitlen's dress is a bit large but we've had to improvise because her own dresses won't fit over the brace she has to wear for her broken clavicle.
Little Payten
Sacrament was really nice.  A sister spoke about being a prisoner of war during her childhood during World War II.  The horrible things she witnessed and endured were unthinkable!  She bore her testimony how faith in the Lord Jesus Christ has helped her survive and to live with the memory of it all.  It really was a touching talk.
We had a wonderful dinner of Ham, mashed potatoes, potatoe salad, corn, gravy and rolls.  It was so yummy!  Then the kids went on an Easter Egg hunt.  Poor Trey scoots on the ground everywhere and just as he would get to an egg someone would take it.  Uncle Royal took pitty on him and scooped him up and helped him fill his bucket!
Then Crystal thought it would be funny to have mom, me, paint Amanda's tummy.  So here it is!
Amanda's "Little" Easter Egg
Royal always poses with his pregnant sisters.  He pushes his belly out and compares tummy's.  I think he lost the contest this time.  Poor Mandy's tummy is huge!  Crystal swears there has to be two babies.  She'll fool us all and have one petite little girl.
Our Easter was nice and made even better with the company of Family.  Of course we missed our little Sage and we always will.  Happy Easter Baby Boy.

It was a great Easter Sunday. We enjoyed all of it. The kids were fun, the food was great, and I'm glad I could be the entertainment for today.

Thanks for the post and the memories!

I had a great day all the children seemed to be happy. I'm greatful that at least for one day they could be children and believe in the Easter Bunny it help ease these last three weeks that we all have had to endure.
