Evening Excitement

Our phone rang early this evening and someone told us that one of the trailers on the property was on fire. We ran outside and sure enough there was a fire. A neighbor with a water truck was putting water on it and two police cars were already there.
A friend of our's, "Tow-Mater" parks his tow truck on our place. His daughter-in-law has a fifth wheel parked here that she has been staying in with her children while her husband is working in Salt Lake City and living in a second Fifth Wheel. He had just pulled in from Salt Lake and parked his trailer and went inside the other trailer to be with his family. The trailer he had just pulled from Salt Lake caught fire. Everything was a total loss.

After the water truck sprayed it and before the fire department arrived

The flames getting higher

Fire fighters have arrived and are spraying the back side and the propane tanks

This little yellow Mazda belongs to Jeremy's mother. We are storing it on our property for him until he can restore it. I was so thankful the car wasn't damaged!

The fire is out now. The firemen were just pulling all of the contents out for the family in hopes of being able to salvage any of it's contents and to make sure nothing was smoldering.

Then just as they were finishing up they got another call just accross the street from us in a new housing development. We watched two new/unoccupied homes burn to the ground.

I don't know because we saw a news chopper flying above it then the house's caught fire so that could have been what they were talking about. Who knows...LOL

This is amazing! The 2 houses were on the news but not the 5th wheel. How did the fire start?

I'm just glad no one was injured and Dads place was safe from it. I do feel bad for the man and his wife, that was what he lived in so he could work. I hope they can afford this.

Find the person we pissed off and I'll cary him or her up the freakin mountain!!

Good grief, I'm glad that no one was hurt and that the fire didn't start while he was driving down the highway.
