Better Late Than Never?

I have tried and tried to post our Thanksgiving and it just hasn't worked out...the blogging service I use has been on the fritz for two weeks now so I give up!  I'll post from Blog Spot this time.

We had a wonderful day.  Royal and Charlee traveled to Laredo, Texas to spend the day with his future in-laws.  He had a lot of fun and I was so relieved that they made there and home again safely.  I'm a HUGE worry wart when my kids are traveling...it nearly gives me panic attacks.

So here is our day...a little late but none the less.
There was some football...

Wii Mario Brothers...

Lots of good food...

Jayden was so hungry and waited patiently for dinner...

Our table setting...I LOVE Fall colors...

I bought this stone right after Sage passed.  I placed it on the table to honor his memory - I don't think a minute went by that we weren't thinking of Sage.
My brother made his famous banana nut bread...

And we had the pleasure of his company this Thanksgiving.  Kathy, his wife, was in California taking care of her sick Uncle...we sure missed her but I'm so thankful for the example of service she has been.

As hard as it was though I could still look around and see how very blessed our family is.  How much we all LOVE each other and how lucky we are to have the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Thanksgiving was great food, and good company as usual, but indeed we were all thinking about Sage, and missing him.

It was a good Thanksgiving, I didn't think I would love that mario game as much as I did.

As always your table looked great and such a good idea to have baby Sage's place setting there also. He was such a happy baby. I'm sure he was there with you and enjoying your wonderful Thanksgiving meal with you all. I did miss Thanksgiving with Mike, but we did have our own family get together, short that it was, the folks are getting so tired with failing health that a short stay is all they can do. I will take care of them as long as I can as many times as it takes, they raised me and wouldn't have it any other way.But anyway, glad you all had a great time and lots of food & fun, that's what it's all about~give my love to everyone~ (Oh, have u seen the video's that I tried to do with your Dad and Ted on my blog, lol, hopefully I'll get better at that!)
