CHS Makes History On The Football Field

I have to say last nights game was one of the most amazing football games I have ever been too.   The community support and spirit was awesome!  A tail gate party in the parking lot complete with music and street dancing.

We arrived an hour early to make sure we got to sit together.  We also needed to sit near a handicapped section for Kaitlens Wheelchair.  The Weather was BEAUTIFUL!
We got a new ticket booth this year! (okay Crystal is adjusting her hair clip--in case you were wondering)
We also got a brand new consession stand with restrooms!  Goodbye nasty old Outhouses!
Sweet Ellie Mae - sound alseep.  I was worried the noise of the crowd would upset her.  Crystal assured me Ellie sleeps through everything!
Kaitlen had me decorate her cast for football.  I think it turned out pretty cool!
Cheerleaders!
Marching Band-they will be getting new uniforms in October-so happy for them.
CHS played South Ridge.  South Ridge won the coin toss and fumbled the ball in the first play.  The Coyotes recovered the fumble and scored their very first touchdown in the second play.  It was awesome!  Scoreboard 8-0 with 11:18 seconds on the clock!

Izzy yelled and cheered with the crowds it was so cute!
The Mascot gives RaLee a hug
Cheerleaders - start of their half time performance
I have to brag a bit- they were fantastic!  Their coach has done so much with them in such a short time.  I have got to get a cam-corder so I can record them and share.
The Big Finish
How did Ellie Mae do?  She slept the entire game!  But heres the amazing part---the marching band sat directly behind us---see the flute and instrament case behind her?  Mommy was right nothing wakes her up!
One tired Amanda resting against her daddy-so sweet.  Anybody would be tired after chasing Izzy up and down the bleecher stairs all night-not to mention she is 32 weeks pregnant.  Two months to go-I don't think she has any more room left!
Game Over-Final score- 70-0!  The football team played so well!  Congratulations!
Celebrating!

The night was perfect.  I was especially happy that it wasn't 100+ degrees and no mosquitos!  I should have taken pictures of all the different outfits some of the fans had on-they went all out and some were pretty funny.  I was so proud of the cheerleaders especially knowing how many hours they prepared for the game.  I can honsestly say all of their hard work has paid off- Congratulations to the Coyote Cheer Squad!

Looks like quite the night. Reminds me of Holbrook when the only thing going on in town was the game so everyone went, or to the PAl ball games.

That band doesn't want uniforms, they're HOT and I should know. I marched in Phoenix and thought I would die every game!
